Pray

Prayer is the staple of the priestly diet. By giving your guildpoints to your deity (you must have at least 50), you are brought closer to you desired alignment. Prayer is also necessary to charge rods and prayer beads.

Levels of Prayer

• 50 gp to 145 gp.

You briefly bow your head and mutter a few quick words in praise to Seven-Handed Sek.

• 146 gp to 219 gp

You lower yourself to your knees and silently offer up a short prayer to Seven-Handed Sek."

• 220 gp to 292 gp

You quietly recite a lengthy hymn of praise to Seven-Handed Sek while kneeling.

• 293 gp to 381 gp

You prostrate yourself on the ground and speak at some length to Seven-Handed Sek.

• 382+ gp

"You prostrate yourself before the vision of Seven-Handed Sek that appears before you and pray loudly and at great length."

Ways to Pray

Discworld also gives you different ways to pray that take up percentages of your gp rather than the whole shabang.

• Pray Gently: 20% of total gp

• Pray Lengthily: 40% of total gp

• Pray vigorously: 60% of total gp

• Pray Fervently: 80% of total gp
